วิธีเลี้ยงนกกางเขนดง

บอกวิธีเลี้ยงนกกางเขนดงเท่าที่พอจะมีประสบการณ์มาบ้าง(ตอนที่หนึ่ง)
1. การเลี้ยงนกใหม่( นกป่าที่จับมาได้ใหม่ ) ก่อนอื่นเมื่อซื้อมาได้ใหม่ๆ นกพวกนี้ยังไม่กินอาหารสำเร็จ จะกินแต่หนอน หรือแมลงเท่านั้น ก่อนใส่กรงควนเตรียมสิ่งของภายในกรง( ใส่หนอนเต็มที่ น้ำ)ให้เรียบร้อยก่อนปล่อยนกเข้ากรง เพราะช่วง 1-3 แรกๆเราจะยุ่งกับเขาให้น้อยที่สุดเพื่อลดความเครียดของนก ถ้ายุ่งกับเขามากนกจะชนกรงมาก และเกิดการบอบช้ำมาก ( เพราะก่อนหน้าที่จะมาอยู่กับเรานกช้ำมาเท่าไรเราไม่ทราบ ) และเลือกเขวนกรงในจุดที่หางๆคนและสูงประมาณระดับศีรษะคุณเดินแล้วไม่ชนกรงก่อน เพราะ 1-3 วันแรก นกจะเปรียวมาก และยังไม่ชินกับกรงอย่าเคลื่อนย้ายกรงเด็ดขาด สิงสำคัญคุณอย่าจ้องนกเพราะนกจะกลัวตาคุณให้หลบตา(ไม่ใช่หลับตา )มองไปทางอื่น เวลาเข้าใกล้ หรือเวลาให้อาหาร(ใสหนอนมากๆ ปนกับอาหารสำเร็จ) เมื่อเวลาผ่านไปสัก 4-5 วันแล้ว( อย่าเพิ่งใจร้อนให้นกอาบน้ำเพราะ นกจะตื่นมาก ชนกรงช้ำอีก) ให้ทำความคุ้นเคยกับนกก่อน โดยการอยู่ห่างๆนกในระยะที่นกไม่ดิ้น(ประมาณ 4-5 เมตร) ถ้าเราอยู่ห่างแล้วนกยังกลัว เราก็ควรหันหลังหรืออยู่ห่างออกไปอีก ในระยะที่นกไม่ดิ้น แล้วหยุดอยู่กับที่ ยืนอยู่นิ่งๆ แล้วมันจะหยุดดิ้นไปเองเพราะว่า นกจะรู้ว่าเราไม่ได้ทำอันตรายมัน แล้วเราก็ใช้วิธีเดิม โดยการกระเถิบเข้าใกล้นกทีละนิดๆ ข้อยเป็นข้อยไป( คุณอย่าจ้องนกเด็ดขาด) ทำอย่างนี้อยู่ประมาณ 7 วัน (นกอาจจะไว้ใจคุณเร็วกว่านี้ถ้าคุณมีเวลาอยู่กับนกวันละนานๆ ) ต่อไปให้คุณเดินผ่านกรงนกที่ แขวนอยู่ โดยแก้งเดินผ่านบ่อยๆ( ถ้านกดิ้น คุณอย่ามองนกเด็ดขาด นกจะดิ้นอยู่บ้างไม่เป็นไร แล้วมันจะหยุดดิ้นไปเอง ) เมื่อนกดิ้นน้อยลงบ้างแล้ว ประมาณ วันที่7-8 นับจากวันที่นำนกเข้ากรงเลี้ยง ต่อไปให้คุณอดอาหารนก( ไม่ให้หนอนเลยตั้งแต่ตอนเย็น) เมื่อถึงตอนสายเวลาประมาณ 8- 9 โมงเช้า นกจะเริ่มหิวอาหารแล้ว ให้คุณยื่นหนอนให้นก โดยใช้ไม้เสียบลูกชิ้นต่อกัน 3 อัน แล้วปลายไม้มีหนอนนกอยู่ (วิธีการคือนำไม้มาผ่าปลายเพื่อใช้คีบหนอน ควรต่อไม้ให้ยาวๆ ประมาณ 3 อันต่อกัน ) แล้วยื่นให้นกกิน อย่าลืมห้ามมองจ้องนก เด็ดขาด ถ้านกไม่กินหนอนที่เรายื่นให้ คุณต้องต่อไม้ให้ยาวมากขึ้น และถ้านกไม่กินอีก คุณต้องหยุดให้อาหาร แล้วรออีกประมาณ ครึ่งชั่วโมงแล้วเริ่มยื่นหนอนให้กินอีก นกจะกิน คุณก็ป้อนหนอนให้กินจนอิ่มแล้วคุณก็ใส่หนอนในถ้วยเพื่อใว้ในตอนกลางวัน( ถ้าคุณมีเวลาคุณก็ไม่ต้องใส่หนอนไว้ในถ้วยเลย จะให้โดยการป้อนเท่านั้น) วันต่อไปคุณก็เริ่มลดความยาวของไม้ให้สั้นลง ที่ละน้อยๆ จนให้หนอนกับมือคุณเอง ต่อไปนกจะเชื่อง มากขึ้น
